Cathedral orange for campaign against gender based violence
St Magnus Cathedral was lit up orange on 25 November to mark UN International Day for the Elimination of Violence against Women and Girls, as part of a local campaign being run by Orkney Rape and Sexual Assault Service (ORSAS) to raise awareness of the issue of gender-based violence.

Westray School’s Children in Need effort
Westray Junior High School has raised £163.31 for this year’s Children in Need.
The P5’s set up a stall selling pens and wrist bands while classes decorated Pudsey face masks and it was a PJ day at school. There was also come tasty Pudsey buns at lunchtime.
