Orkney Health and Care brings together Orkney Islands Council and NHS Orkney responsibilities into an integrated management and governance arrangement with each parent body continuing to retain individual organisational accountability for statutory functions, resources and employment issues. Its primary function is to manage and deliver integrated high quality, effective and person centred front line health and social work services in collaboration with service users, carers and our wider partners.
