Orkney Towns Board
The Orkney Towns Fund Project is backed by £20 million of grant funding from the UK Government. It is designed to support new project ideas and proposals as well as supporting existing project proposals which are already identified but need an extra boost. The funding can be spent over the next 10 years but can also be accelerated into shorter time periods if required.
The Towns Board will be holding a series of ideas and proposals workshops, covering:
- An introduction to the basis of the fund
- Guidance on what makes a suitable project idea based on scale, readiness and impact
- Input from community members and organisations
- Consideration of links and emerging themes
Projects can be submitted using the online form.
Head to the Orkney Towns Fund Facebook page for information on upcoming events.
