Monitoring and Managing Performance
Here you’ll find monitoring reports on the progress we’re making with our strategic and service plans, along with some information on how well we are performing against other Scottish councils.
Local Outcomes Improvement Plan Monitoring
Orkney Partnership’s Annual Report which shows how well the targets in Orkney’s Local Outcome Improvement Plan are being met.
Council Plan Monitoring
Council Plan monitoring reports which show how well we are meeting our key priorities and targets.
Statutory Performance Indicator Monitoring
Each year the Accounts Commission uses 25 Statutory Performance Indicators to see how well the 32 Scottish councils are performing in these areas, and to compare the 32 councils with each other. 2012/13 was the last time that these 25 Statutory Performance Indicators were published, since they have been replaced with 55 Local Government Benchmark Framework Indicators, which you can access below.
Local Government Benchmarking Framework Indicator Monitoring
The Local Government Benchmarking Framework (LGBF) brings together a wide range of information about how all Scottish councils perform in delivering services to local communities. Publication of the LGBF forms part of each council’s statutory public performance reporting. We also report this information to Councillors each year for scrutiny as part of our commitment to measuring and evaluating the impact of our activities on our communities.
Service Plan Monitoring
Service plan monitoring reports which show how well targets are being met by the Chief Executive’s Service; Corporate Services; Education, Leisure and Housing; Development and Infrastructure; and Orkney Health and Care (a partnership with NHS Orkney).
Detailed information on all of these can be accessed from the 'More pages in this section' menu.
