Faray - Pre-Application Consultation
Prior to submitting a planning application for the Faray site in May 2021, we carried out a pre-application consultation, or PAC.
The objective of the PAC is for communities to be better informed about major and national development proposals and to have an opportunity to contribute their views before a formal planning application is submitted to the planning authority.
Due to restrictions relating to the ongoing coronavirus crisis, we were unable to hold a face to face public event.
Recent emergency legislation from the Scottish Government has been extended to allow developers to carry out pre-application consultation via alternative means and therefore the following options were available to those who wish to be informed on the project and contribute their views.
- Full information on the project, including downloadable and printable versions of the project information, are available on this webpage from Related Downloads. This includes two documents - the consultation boards and the guide to the consultation boards. You should read them alongside each other.
- A feedback form was available online or could be posted out.
- Members of the Council’s project team were available by telephone to talk people through the plans and discuss any questions or concerns they may have.
- Members of the Council’s project team were available by email to discuss any questions or concerns.
- Information on the project could be sent by post on request.
