When was the last time you checked your personal details were up to date?

We want to make sure that the information we hold on our HR systems about you is as up to date and accurate as possible.  

Please take 5 minutes to check your details by logging on to MyView and taking a look at the My Personal Details tab.

• Bank Details
• Emergency Contact Details

How to update your details

We have created a short video to guide you through how to update your information on My View. Take a look by logging on to Orkney Islands Council iLearn - Login (tessello.co.uk) and the Updating your diversity details video is in the New Content section at the top of the page.

Why your diversity details are important to us

We want to better understand about the people who work here.

This means that we ask you to tell us some information about yourself which you may feel is a bit personal. You might feel that this information has nothing to do with us and so we want to explain why we are so interested in you.

We ask you about your diversity details in order to collect overall statistical information, it’s not about you personally, it’s about everybody. We want to make sure that everyone feels our workplace is a safe and inclusive place to be and one that treats people fairly and meets everyone’s needs.

Your diversity details help us to:

• Understand the people who work here in order to meet everyone’s needs.
• Understand who is and who is not, working for us.
• Promote equal opportunities for everyone.

Did you know?

We have a statutory duty under the Equality Act 2010 to gather diversity information from employees, both contracted and relief. Help us to make our workplace better by updating your diversity details on MyView.
