But inclusion doesn’t just happen once a year – it’s something that is important for our everyday experience at work. In the coming weeks we will be sharing more resources and continuing to raise awareness of inclusion in the workplace starting with a spotlight on the journey of one young person entering the work place through a supported recruitment initiative. The Kickstart Scheme which was launched and funded by the Government after the pandemic, helped to create work placements for young people aged 16 – 24 years-old. The video highlights the benefits of the supported recruitment process and illustrates the impact that the 6 month placement had for both the young person and for the team who recruited them.

We are also continuing our Guided Journaling sessions over the next few weeks, taking a pause for the October break.

To ensure we reach as many of our colleagues as possible, we have made some changes to how the Guided Journalling sessions have been set up on Teams. Please sign up or re-sign up to the future sessions on the links below -

We will also be running the Introduction to menopause awareness webinar again in November. You can register here for the session by selecting this link: Introduction to menopause awareness

Remember this year, National Inclusion Week has been about Taking Action and Making an Impact. What action have you taken today to help others feel included?
