Delays expected on Council networks this Friday night 23 June

The Council network will experience delays and disruptions this Friday evening (23 June) as essential maintenance and testing works are carried out.

The works will have an impact on some aspects of warrant and planning online services, SCUBA (sport, leisure and course bookings), VTS, school networks, and guest wifi and cloud based services.

Some of the Council’s back office information systems will be impacted, so there may be delays at times for customers contacting our out of hours teams if staff temporarily can’t access systems.

The work will take place between 6:00pm and 10:30pm on Friday 23 June, with the possibility of further work on Saturday.

The vital maintenance works are being carried out to ensure the Council’s information systems are robust and able to keep essential services going on behalf of the community.

The Council’s IT team will work to keep disruption to a minimum.
