Undergraduate Study Options

Are you looking to expand your skillset, learn something new or even pursue an existing passion? UHI are offering Orkney Islands Council staff an opportunity to enrol in fully-funded undergraduate study options. 

We have a range of courses available including mental health peer support; renewable energy systems; counselling; and social sciences. Courses must commence and be completed in semester two of 2024, so be sure to get your application submitted if you are interested. While the majority of courses commence from Monday 22 January 2024, late applications may be accepted at the discretion of the relevant programme leader.

Orkney-based applicants may enrol on any of the courses offered across the partnership that are taught online*. You can determine whether a course offers an online option via the ‘study mode’ tab of the specific course webpage.

*A few practical courses where use of facilities are required are only offered on-campus at sites outwith Orkney, thus cannot accept Orkney-based applicants.
