Security of Council Premises

I am writing to ask that all staff ensure that when entering or exiting any Council premises, that you please check that other people at the entry/exit points are also members of staff and not a member of the public looking for an entrance. This is much easier if staff wear their ID badges visibly.

Following a recent incident with a member of the public, it would be appreciated if staff were extra vigilant of people around the vicinity of all Council Offices and facilities.

Your vigilance is vital to ensuring we continue to enjoy a safe and welcoming working environment for all staff and visitors to our facilities.
