Why do you sometimes review the barriers before you said you would?
Because nobody wants to see the barriers closed for longer than they need to be. Setting review times is not an exact science and conditions can change very quickly. If conditions on the ground look to be easing sooner than originally anticipated we’ll carry out a review with Police Scotland colleagues as soon as practicable.
