Stromness: Upper Sunnybank STR-2

The Draft Development Brief for ‘Stromness: Upper Sunnybank STR-2’ will be published for public consultation on 31 October 2019.

There will be a 6 week period for the public to comment on the draft document between 31 October and 12 December 2019. The document is available from the 'Related Downloads' section of this page. In addition, paper reference copies will be made available at the OIC Customer Services in Kirkwall, Stromness Warehouse Building, and the Mobile Library Van.

You are welcome to write to us with your views on the document by emailing devplan@orkney.gov.uk or by writing to Development and Marine Planning, Development and Infrastructure, School Place, Orkney Islands Council, KW15 1NY. Representations should be made by 17:00 on 12 December 2019.

After this consultation period is complete, revisions to the document will be made if necessary to respond to the material consideration raised, before it is reported to the Council’s Development and Infrastructure Committee for approval. It will then have status as a material planning consideration for future planning applications on the site.
