The construction of domestic, commercial and industrial buildings are bound by fire safety requirements including safe means of escape, internal and external stability, accessibility for fire equipment, containment of smoke or fire. The local Fire Authority inspects non-domestic premises to ensure compliance with all Legislation.
The Construction Design and Management Regulations 2007 or CDM 2007, came into force on 6 April 2007. Everyone in construction needs to know about the Construction Health and Safety Regulations.
CDM 2007 will help you to:

The CDM Regulations 2007 are applied to all building works.
