Building Standards - Licences

Our Building Standards team provides advice relating to the technical requirements as part of the licensing process, carrying out checks on everything from pubs and cinemas to funfairs and circuses, liquor and any other relevant licensing applications, amendments or enquiries. The aim is to ensure public safety. The team often works hand-in-hand with the local Fire Authority, and the Council’s Legal Services Department and Environmental Health staff.
