Adult Respite Care and Short Breaks

Orkney Health and Care provides respite care / short breaks in Westray, St Margaret’s Hope, Kirkwall, Stromness and Dounby.

Assessment for eligibility and booking for respite or short breaks is undertaken by a care manager, subject to availability. Care staff will assist you to maintain independence, continue with your daily routine and take part in social activities of choice, whilst providing a break for families and carers.
