From time to time the government publishes alerts to consumers, businesses and local authorities to let them know about food safety, food standards or food allergy issues of concern. These are published online by food standards Scotland https://www.foodstandards.gov.scot/news-and-alerts

Public Health Scotland News - Public Health Scotland also publish relevant alerts and news dealing with illness and food poisoning.

If you are a food business operator you are advised to regularly check for any alerts that are relevant for your business activities and to take appropriate action.
