How can I have my say on an Orkney visitor levy?

There are several ways for residents, tourism businesses and organisations, visitors and anyone else who could be affected by a visitor levy to share their views:

Join an online public engagement session on Tuesday 25 March 2025, 6.30 to 8.30pm. Questions may be submitted ahead of time by emailing visitorlevy@urbanforesight.com.

or

Attend an in-person public engagement session on Wednesday 26 March 2025 at the Pickaquoy Centre, 6.30 to 8.30pm. Advance booking is required. Questions may be submitted ahead of time by emailing visitorlevy@urbanforesight.com.

Please note that if the Council decides to progress the introduction of a visitor levy scheme in Orkney, there will be further opportunities for people to express their views on specific proposals through a statutory public consultation process.
