Notice Of Asset Transfer Request

An asset transfer request has been made to Orkney Islands Council under Part 5 of the Community Empowerment (Scotland) Act 2015.

The request has been made by Orkney Amateur Weight Lifting Club and relates to Stromness Squash Court. 

The request is for a lease of part of the building.

The proposed use of the building is for: weightlifting and para-powerlifting facility.

Anyone may make representations about this request to Orkney Islands Council.  Representations must be in writing and include the name and address of the person making it. A copy of the representation will be given to the organisation making the request.
