Glossary of terms

A wire used to connect devices over a network. Any home broadband router supports ethernet cables as well as Wi-Fi. Ethernet can be quicker and more reliable than Wi-Fi, so it's preferable to use a network cable for any device which may require very fast data transfer speeds.
