How will people know when this is going to happen to them?
The network has already been upgraded for most of the country for fibre services, customers will be switched over by the telephone company that they have a contract with and pay their bills to. They will contact the customer to arrange the switchover. This will be done by each of these companies independently and not necessarily at the same time.
The practicality of this change is that you may be notified by your telephony provider anytime between now and the end of 2025. However, your neighbours or other businesses around you, may have a totally different date before the end of 2025 for their switch-over.
