The Scottish Government R100 build programme is delivering a fibre network to a number of properties in Orkney . However, there will be a significant number of premises that are neither connected to a street cabinet nor are receiving broadband services wirelessly.
It is recommended that residents and businesses who have access to fibre services to apply for a fibre connection.
