Orkney Business Survey 2014

The Orkney Business Survey was conducted early in 2014 to gather views of the local business community on a range of issues.

Nearly 400 local companies took part in the survey, answering questions on their turnover, the size of their workforce, their markets, skills and training and their plans for future development. The survey was developed with the help of local industry groups and made available online and via the Business Gateway Service.

The information gathered will be used to ascertain the key issues facing local business and help identify areas of need which could then inform potential improvements to the support and schemes provided by the Business Gateway and its partner agencies.
