BREEAM Case Studies for Schools Investment Programme

A requirement of the BREEAM (Building Research Establishment Environmental Assessment Method) assessment is to publicise information relating to the aspects of the design and procurement which will reduce the buildings overall environmental impact. Information has is included for the four projects that made up the Schools Investment Programme, namely Kirkwall Grammar School, Stromness Primary School, Papdale Halls of Residence and the extension to Pickaquoy centre to provide a swimming pool, leisure waters and squash courts.
