Orkney Islands Council is seeking feedback after publishing a draft strategy for addressing fuel poverty in the county.
The document is available from the 'Related Files' section of this page with comments invited by Friday May 19 May.
Frances Troup, the Council’s Head of Housing, Homelessness and School Care Accommodation, said: “This is a problem facing many households in Orkney. A number of agencies have worked alongside the Council and together significant efforts have been made towards tackling fuel poverty.
“The new draft strategy builds on that work and looks at how fuel poverty can be reduced and ultimately eradicated in Orkney.
“I would encourage residents, businesses and other organisations to read the draft document and provide us with feedback. All comments will be taken into account before a final version is adopted.”
