Work at school hostel

Date: 18 August 2017

Time: 09:28

Scaffolding is being put up ahead of work to replace fascia, soffit and barge boards fitted at Papdale Halls of Residence in Kirkwall.

This is to address a problem affecting the finish of the boards.

To minimise disruption for hostel residents, the work will be carried out while pupils are at school.

The work is being dealt with by Galliford Try, the company that has the responsibility to design, build and maintain the facilities built as part of Orkney Islands Council’s Schools Investment Programme.

As a result, there is no cost involved for the Council.
