Winter bus timetable reminder

Bus passengers are being reminded some services change from Monday 25 2023 September to coincide with winter ferry timetables.

Services affected include the X1, Service 2 (Houton) and Service 6 (Tingwall).

Full details are available in the year-round bus timetables which indicate timings for the different seasons. These can be found at www.orkney.gov.uk/bus as well as in shelters and on poles marking main waiting points throughout Orkney. Or pick up the ‘Orkney Public Bus Guide’ booklet available from the Travel Centres, Customer Services in both Kirkwall and Stromness, and Orkney Library.

Passengers are also encouraged to use the Stagecoach Bus App which allows you to plan journeys and track buses live on an interactive map.
