Westray waste collection to resume tomorrow

Orkney Islands Council's waste team have advised that due to a large quantity of refuse on Westray today, Tuesday 20 April, the refuse truck has had to return full to mainland Orkney – leaving 70 properties uncollected.

Residents affected are advised to present their bins again tomorrow morning (21 April) by 8am, as arrangements have been made for another collection to complete the route.

The Council apologises for any convenience caused.
