Waste Management Sites - Festive Period Closures

Business Waste Users Only

Bossack Landfill Site (Commercial users)

The Landfill Site at Bossack will close at 3.45pm on Friday 23 December 2022 and will not reopen until 8am on Wednesday 4 January 2023.

Chinglebraes Waste Transfer Station (Commercial users)

The Waste Transfer Station at Chinglebraes will be closed on Monday 26 December 2022, Tuesday 27 December 2022, Monday 2 January 2023 and Tuesday 3 January 2023. It will remain open on other days as per normal hours throughout and after the festive period.

Household Recycling & Waste Users Only

Cursiter Quarry Recycling Point

The Cursiter Recycling Point will close at 3.15pm on Friday 23 December 2022 and will not reopen until 8am on Wednesday 4 January 2023.

Hatston and Garson Recycling Centres and St.Margaret’s Hope Recycling Point

The above recycling centres or points will be closed on Sunday 25 December, Monday 26 December, Tuesday 27 December 2022. Then closed on Sunday 1 January, Monday 2 January and Tuesday 3 January 2023. They will remain open on other days as per normal hours throughout and after the festive period.

Bossack Recycling Centre

The Bossack Recycling Centre will be closed on Saturday 24 December, Sunday 25 December, Monday 26 December, Tuesday 27 December 2023. Then closed on Saturday 31 December 2022, Sunday 1 January, Monday 2 January and Tuesday 3 January 2023. This site will remain open on other days as per normal hours throughout and after the festive period.

Normal operating hours will resume from Wednesday 4 January 2023.
