Victoria Street Closures Next Week

Victoria Street in Kirkwall will be closed to traffic during the day for three days next week.
The street will be closed from 09.00 until 12.00 and then again from 13.00 until 15.00 hours on Wednesday, Thursday, Friday next week (9/10/11 October).
The closures are being put in place to allow general street repairs to take place. As the street will be closed, contractors will also take the opportunity will to carry out some additional works at the head of Victoria Street for the ongoing Places and Spaces project. The street will be closed from the junction with Broad Street through to Victoria Road.
Tankerness Lane will remain closed.
Pedestrian access will be maintained throughout.
We would also like to apologise for any inconvenience that the road closure may cause.
