Orkney Islands Area Licensing Board has received the following application for variation of premises licence:

Applicant: Highland Brewing Co Ltd, Swannay Brewery, Swannay by Evie, Birsay KW17 2NP.

Premises: Swannay Brewery, Swannay by Evie, Birsay KW17 2NP.

Date by which objections may be made to the Board: 9 June 2022.

Variations applied for:

• To permit on-sales between 10:00 and 24:00 on Sundays to Thursdays and between 10:00 and 01:00 on Fridays/Saturdays and Saturdays/Sundays with capacity of 75 persons.
• To extend previously permitted off-sales hours from 10:00 to 18:00 on Mondays to Saturdays to 10:00 to 22:00 every day.
• To increase off-sales capacity from 4.6 square metres to 25.61 square metres.
• To permit activities of conference facilities, restaurant facilities, bar meals, receptions, club / other group meetings, live performances, dance facilities, films and outdoor drinking facilities in addition to previously permitted recorded music.
• To permit access by children and young persons.
