Orkney Islands Area Licensing Board has received the following application for variation of premises licence:

Applicant: Chivas Brothers Ltd, Kilmalid, Stirling Road, Dumbarton G82 2SS.

Agent: Audrey Junner, Hill Brown Licensing, The Forsyth Building, 5 Renfield Street, Glasgow G2 5EZ.

Premises: Scapa Distillery Visitor Centre, St Ola, Orkney KW15 1SE.

Date by which objections may be made to the Board: 23 September 2022.

Variations applied for:

  • Increase to footprint of licensed premises by inclusion of Tasting Room and Terrace.
  • To increase on-sales capacity by 15 persons from 21 to 36.
  • To permit activity of outdoor drinking at Tasting Room and Terrace in addition to previously permitted recorded music for whole premises.
