Orkney Islands Area Licensing Board has received the following application for variation of premises licence:

Applicant: Highland Distillers Ltd, 100 Queen Street, Glasgow, G1 3DN.

Premises: 58 Albert Street, Kirkwall, KW15 1HQ.

Date by which objections may be made to the Board: 3 April 2024.

Variation applied for:

• Increase to footprint of licensed premises by inclusion of additional room;
• To permit on-sales with capacity of 30;
• Increase in off-sales on Sundays from 12:00 - 22:00 to 10:00 - 22:00;
• To permit activities of live music, films, tasting, sampling and whisky experiences in addition to previously permitted recorded music.
