The Orkney Islands Council (Street Maintenance) (Temporary Closure) Order 2022

Orkney Islands Council has made the above-named Order under section 14 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 to ensure the safety of the public and road users during its essential road maintenance works.
The Order will be in operation from 1 October 2022 to 31 March 2023, and its effect will be to close the roads specified in the Schedule below, when required. Traffic signs will be erected to indicate when a road is closed.
Schedule
Stromness roads: Alfred Street, Dundas Street, Ferry Road, Graham Place, John Street, Ness Road, South End and Victoria Street.
Kirkwall roads: Albert Street, Bridge Street, Main Street, Tankerness Lane and Victoria Street.
