The Orkney Islands Council (QUEEN STREET, KIRKWALL) (Temporary Closure) Order 2024

Orkney Islands Council has made the above-named Order under section 14 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 to ensure the safety of the public and road users during new public utility connections to an adjacent development site at Queen Street, Kirkwall.

The Order will be in operation from Monday 4 March 2024 to Sunday 10 March 2024.The effect of the Order will be to close Queen Street, Kirkwall, when required.

Traffic signs will be erected to indicate when the road is closed.
