The Orkney Islands Council (Queen’s Flag) (Temporary Closure) Order 2022

Orkney Islands Council has made the above-named Order under Section 62 of the Roads (Scotland) Act 1984 to ensure the safety of the public and road users while Ship2Shore Orkney hold an event in connection with the Queen’s Platinum Jubilee.

The Order will be in operation on Monday 30 May 2022 and its effect will be to close Bridge Street and Albert Street, Kirkwall, between the hours of 09:30 to 12:00 on Monday 30 May 2022.

Traffic signs will be erected to indicate when a road is closed.
