The Orkney Islands Council (Pipersquoy Road, Kirkwall) (Temporary Closure) Order 2025

Orkney Islands Council has made the above-named Order under section 14 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 to ensure the safety of the public and road users while Andrew Sinclair Ltd carry out repairs to an electricity sub-station on behalf of SSEN.

The Order will be in operation from Thursday, 24 April 2025 until Wednesday, 30 April 2025. The effect of the Order will be to close Pipersqouy Road, Kirkwall between its junctions with Broadsands Road and Laverock Road, when required. Traffic signs will be erected to indicate when the road is closed.
