.The Orkney Islands Council (Pickaquoy Road, Bonfire) (Temporary Closure) Order 2022

Orkney Islands Council has made the above-named Order under section 62 of the Roads (Scotland) Act 1984 to ensure the safety of the public and road users during the Kirkwall and St Ola Community Council’s bonfire event.
The Order will be in operation on Saturday 5 November 2022 between the hours of 18:30 to 22:00 and its effect will be to close Pickaquoy Road between its junctions with Pickaquoy Loan and Muddisdale Road, all in Kirkwall, when required. Traffic signs will be erected to indicate when the road is closed.
