The Orkney Islands Council (Laing Street, Kirkwall) (Temporary Closure) Order 2023

Orkney Islands Council has made the above-named Order under section 14 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 to ensure the safety of the public and road users during works by WRC Ltd. to enable building related works and public utility services to be connected to the Old Library building.
The Order will be in operation from 6 November 2023 to 10 April 2024.The effect of the Order will be to close Laing Street, Kirkwall. Traffic signs will be erected to indicate when the road is closed.
