The Orkney Islands Council (Glaitness Road and Old Finstown Road) (Temporary Closure) Order 2022

Orkney Islands Council has made the above-named Order under section 14 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 to ensure the safety of site personnel and road users while Orkney Builders Ltd lay a new watermain and service connections.
The Order will come into operation on Monday 22 August 2022 for the period until and including Friday 23 December 2022 and its effect will be to close Glaitness Road, from The Sciennes to Old Finstown Road; and Old Finstown Road from Glaitness Road to Sunnybank Road, when required. Traffic signs will be erected to indicate when a road is closed.
