The Orkney Islands Council (General Roadworks) (Temporary Closure) Order 2022

Orkney Islands Council has made the above-named Order under section 14 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 to ensure the safety of site personnel and road users while carriageway resurfacing, carriageway patching and haunch reconstruction works are carried out.

The Order will come into operation on Monday 10 January 2022 for the period until and including Thursday 31 March 2022 and its effect will be to close the sections of the roads referred to in the Schedule below, when required. Traffic signs will be erected to indicate when a road is closed.
