The Orkney Islands Council (Festive Lighting Works) (Temporary Closure) Order 2024

Orkney Islands Council has made the above-named Order under section 14 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 to ensure the safety of the public and road users during its works in connection with testing and repair of festive lighting anchor points.
The Order will be in operation from 19 August 2024 to 31 October 2024, and its effect will be to close the roads specified in the Schedule below, when required. Traffic signs will be erected to indicate when a road is closed.
