The Orkney Islands Council (Festive Lighting Works) (Temporary Closure) Order 2022

Orkney Islands Council has made the above-named Order under section 14 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 to ensure the safety of the public and road users during its works in connection with festive anchor points and festive lighting.
The Order will be in operation from Monday 24 October 2022 to Friday 3 February 2023, and its effect will be to close the roads specified in the Schedule below, when required. Traffic signs will be erected to indicate when a road is closed.
