The Orkney Islands Council (Festive Lighting Installation and Removal) (Temporary Closure) Order 2021

Orkney Islands Council has made the above-named Order under section 14 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 to ensure the safety of the public and road users during the installation and removal of festive lighting at various roads in Orkney.
The Order will be in operation from Monday 15 November 2021 to Monday 31 January 2022 and its effect will be to close the roads listed in the Schedule below, when required. Traffic signs will be erected to indicate when the road is closed.
