The Orkney Islands Council (Burnett Brae, Kirkwall) (Temporary Closure) Order 2024

Orkney Islands Council has made the above-named Order under section 14 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 to ensure the safety of the public and road users during works by Orkney Builders (Contractors) Ltd. to enable them to lay a new water main in connection with a new nursery development.
The Order will be in operation from Monday, 16 September 2024 to Friday, 28 February 2025. The effect of the Order will be to close Burnett Brae, Kirkwall, between Wasdale Crescent and its junction with Moar Drive, when required. Traffic signs will be erected to indicate when the road is closed.
