The Orkney Islands Council (Berstane Road, Kirkwall) (Temporary Closure) Order 2022

Orkney Islands Council has made the above-named Order under section 14 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 to ensure the safety of the public and road users during SSEN’s underground cabling works being carried out.
The Order will be in operation from Monday 10 January 2022 to Sunday 23 January 2022 and its effect will be to close Berstane Road, Kirkwall, between its junctions with Springfield Drive and Viewfield Drive all in Kirkwall, when required. Traffic signs will be erected to indicate when the road is closed.
