The Orkney Islands Council (Back Road, Dounby) (Temporary Closure) Order 2022

Orkney Islands Council has made the above-named Order under section 14 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 to ensure the safety of the public and road users during Orkney Builders (Contractors) Ltd.’s works in connection with new utility services being laid to a property under construction.

The Order will be in operation from Monday 26 September 2022 to Sunday 2 October 2022 and its effect will be to close Back Road, Dounby, between its junction with the A986 and the property of Heatherdale, when required. Traffic signs will be erected to indicate when the road is closed.
