The Orkney Islands Council (30 mph Speed Limit) (Various Roads in Orkney) Order 2021

On 16 December 2021, Orkney Islands Council made the above-named order under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.

The effect of the order, which comes into operation on 7 January 2022, will be to make it an offence for anyone to drive or cause or permit to be driven any motor vehicle at a speed exceeding thirty miles per hour in any of the lengths of road specified in the Schedule to the Order.

A copy of the order may be inspected at Customer Services, Council Offices, Kirkwall, Orkney, KW15 1NY (10:00 to 13:00 and 14:00 to 16:00 Monday to Friday) and at Warehouse Buildings, 2-12 Victoria Street, Stromness, Orkney, KW16 3AA (10:00 to12:00 and 14:00 to 16:00 Monday to Friday and 12:00 to 15:00 on Saturdays) and online at www.orkney.gov.uk.
