Temporary Closure of Various Roads in Kirkwall for Boys Brigade Parade

Notice is hereby given that Orkney Islands Council has made an order in terms of section 62 of the Roads (Scotland) Act 1984 to ensure the safety of the public and road users during the Boys Brigade Parade.
The order will be in operation on Sunday, 2 October 2022 between the hours of 10:15 and 13:00. The effect of the Order will be to close the roads and car parks specified in the schedule below, between the hours, and on the date, stated.
Traffic signs will be erected to indicate when a road or car park is closed.
Schedule
Broad Street; Broad Street Car Park; Dundas Crescent (Buttquoy Crescent to Palace Road); East Kirk Car Park; Palace Road; Tankerness Lane (Broad Street to end of one way section); Thoms Street (St Rognvald Street to Dundas Crescent); Victoria Street; and Watergate (from Buttquoy Crescent to Palace Road).
