Temporary Closure of Roads in Kirkwall for Science Festival

Notice is hereby given that Orkney Islands Council has made an order in terms of section 62 of the Roads (Scotland) Act 1984 and its effect will be to close the roads and car park referred to in the Schedule below, when required, between the hours of 12:30 and 17:30 on Saturday 3 September 2022, in connection with the Orkney Vintage Club holding an event in connection with the Science Festival.
Traffic signs will be erected to indicate when a road or car park is closed.
Schedule
(1) Albert Street from Laing Street to Broad Street; (2) Broad Street from Albert Street to Palace Road; (3) Broad Street car park; and (4) Castle Street from car park exit to Broad Street, all Kirkwall.
