Temporary Closure of Road and car park in Broad Street, Kirkwall for Road Safety Forum Event

Notice is hereby given that Orkney Islands Council has made an order in terms of section 62 of the Roads (Scotland) Act 1984 to ensure the safety of the public and road users while the Road Safety Forum hold an event.
The order will be in operation on Saturday 2 July 2022 and its effect will be to close Broad Street Car Park, Kirkwall and Broad Street, Kirkwall between its junctions with Castle Street and Palace Road, between the hours of 08.00 am 16.00pm.
Traffic signs will be erected to indicate when the road and car park are closed.
